it's concerning how little disabled people are discussed re: the bodily autonomy discussions re: abortion and right to die
like while i'm pro-choice and pro-right to die for terminally ill people, these things can easily lead to eugenics and eugenic talking points
like i'm not saying that people should be forced to birth disabled kids they can't care for, but can we at least not frame it like Preventing Disabled People From Being Born is a nice perk of abortion. just phrase it better ffs and yes bodily autonomy and all that but if a government chooses to not accommodate a disabled person's needs, then recommends MAID, that's just a way to murder disabled people
and i'm sorry but the idea of euthanizing people in their 20s and younger for depression and shit is absurd. no, people with chronic illnesses shouldn't be made to live and suffer, but the way we work on that is by increasing social support, not by fucking killing them
