What do we think of the new shades of Chanel Les Beige Blush Sticks? ❤️or😿? I actually really like both, butt I was surprised to find I preferred the pink shade over the coral. I think it's because I found the pink suited my skin more & I tend to find it tougher to get a darker pink tone that I actually like- I'm more of a pastel pink girl. There coral was still fantastic & one that I'll definitely use, but it just wasn't what I would describe as a coral. Neither one came out that sheer, but can be blended down a lot. They actually come out quite thick & the only thing I didn't like about them was that they feel quite grainy, when applied. You can basically feel the little sparkles in it, at first. However, when I blended it in to my skin this disappeared. No 23 Pink, comes out quite soft, as a mid-toned pink, but with a golden, sun kissed sparkle to it. No 24 Coral, is a complete orange coral. However, as I said, I would use the term coral loosely & say it's more a golden, yellow-orange, due to the golden sparkle throughout the formula. They don't really have a strong smell to them, like the other Les Beiges pieces. I think quite a few people will be happy with this, although I love the traditional smell! I'll still keep recommending this collection for my Poorly Pretty Kitty's because it is all about a healthy complexion & quick fixes. So, perfect for anyone who can't spend a lot of time on their makeup - also perfect to pop in the hand bag & carry round with you, for touch ups. So far the Les Beiges collection is one of my favourites of the summer & one that I'll be getting a lot of use out of this summer! Meet my new best friend from Chanel's latest Les Beiges collection - new for summer 2017 - the 'Les Beige Healthy Glow Natural Eyeshadow Palette.' Shout out to my Poorly Pretty Kitty's! This has our name written all over it! At first I didn't think this worked, but once you get in some decent light you'll see how much this makes your eyes pop & sparkle, so it was perfect for hiding fatigue & discolouration! Natural, but noticeable, this is a must have for any beauty collection. For me this is a stable item - like a LBD - because it gives you the core shades you need to create some of the most iconic looks; even a smokey eye! As a little bonus, #Chanel also say this can be used on brows! I haven't tested this out yet, but will get back to you when I do. Though I already know I'll avoid the khaki! 😸 Nude & natural, big & brown, smokey & smouldering - these are all shadows that should be in a core collection & you're getting it all in one, handy, travel size kit! What more could you ask for? Oh, you can even line your eyes with these shades & the inclusive brush (designed for the contours of the eye & creating sleek details, such as lines & flicks) - it actually worked really, considering the inclusive brushes aren't usually great. The other, larger foam one was great for setting your base, but I did need to use other brushes in place of the bristled hair one (meant to be used for blending). The base shade at the top really covered & almost colour corrected the skin because of the neutral, creamy, beige-white shade it left your lids. Of the other shades the khaki (bottom left) was my favourite because it was so deep & smouldering, but the other 3 shades (mid row, L- R: taupe, medium tan brown & the beige sugar brown, on the bottom right) were still fantastic.
