Saw you've drawn Moth as a character of their own before, do you have any headcanons or ideas about them overall?
AUGH if i had the time to draw my ideas for moth I WOULD!
i feel like the moth is a completely different skykid in comparison to the sea of skykid ocs. they're the first star to land and they're recognized from far away for their utterly simple drip
i've been listening to this song (the box by 11vein) and it actually made me think of the moth everytime i listened to it. the more they learn about the kingdom they were now given the responsibility of saving, the more frustrated they get at the story they piece together, but they struggle to identify the feeling and vocalize it since they literally had to learn basic emotive gestures from dead people's memories.
another song that reminds me of them is human by flavor foley. while the adult ancestors find them a strange existence, the moth themself is a little too aware of how not-ancestor/human they are. they mimic the way the other kids respect the adults as parents or as authoritative figures, they mimic what seems to be appropriate reactions to certain situations through their clumsy physical gestures since their vocal chords can only mimic the calls of creatures, they do a lot of practicing to be as ancestor-like as possible, but sometimes feels that isn't enough
anyway tldr, they're a strange being that takes a little more than a few tries to perfectly emote the same way ancestors do, unlike what the spirit memory reliving shows. they're either very endearing or unsettling depending on the ancestor but they're highly respected regardless
