The thing about fourteen year old Mello is that, while this is an odd thing to say about a child, he looks a LOT like one of my dogs. Not even in a weird obsession way. They just have a lot in common. And this greatly affects my desire to see the character in question unconditionally forgiven for any wrongdoing. I am dog-ifying him in my treatment of him and I know it.

“Cureville”
“When some children have a hard time dealing with troubles of the world, the are transported through the magical land of Cureville. Where they can play, sleep, eat and hopefully finally heal.”
My mom was born in Plattsburgh New York on the north west coast of Lake Champlain. She wasn't quite sure how I wanted her to react.

OMG!!! My first ask! Thank you so much anon!!!!
——
Champy (or Champ) is a sea monster (possible descendent of a plesiosaur) said to be found within Lake Champlain. This fresh water lake passes through New York, Vermont, and even Canada’s Quebec!
There have been a whopping 300 reported sightings following Sandra Mansi’s released 1971 Champy photograph! Champy has a celebrated day in Port Henry, New York; and is the mascot of Vermont’s minor league baseball team! It even has a proposed scientific name called “Champtanystropheus americansus”
Recently, a video published in 2005 by Dick Affolter and Pete Bodette can spot this creature. Professional forensic image specialists reviewed the tape, and said they found no signs of tampering. There was also a recording of unknown creature-based echolocation in 2003 by Fauna Communications Research Institute!
