Malo Sevigny is Flo’s cousin, on his mother’s side. He is older than florent by about 4-5 years! He has a twin sister Victoire who he is close to albeit having very contrasting personalities. He is an AFAB trans male! (sidenote; i am cis so like if i say or discuss anything poorly please correct me). He works as a patissier and is indeed super fond of pastries!
His personality is an enigma - everything he does or says, you cant tell the intention behind it. He is rather lazy and enjoys lying around observing things with a :3 face. Imagine a cat lazing around in bed............. that’s Malo. You can probably hear him purring from across the room. He is non competitive and more or less passive, and will somehow always manage to get someone else to do something for him.
He is very friendly and sociable and apparently enjoys being with others! He is a big fan of petnames just like Florent and employs similar ones (Darling, sweetie, sweetheart, honey, etc...) - the only difference is that when he addresses you in such way, it is impossible to tell whether he is using them ironically and playing around with you or just being genuinely nice. That’s why he is a bit of an “enigma” - the way he speaks, his facial expressions and general presence is confusing because you cant tell if he’s (again) playing around with you or if he is like florent. There’s just something sneaky about him you cant place. Also the fact his face is permanently like :3 doesnt help
Additionally, if he is close to someone, he has a habit of assigning personal nicknames to them. They are usually based on pastries, chocolates or other sugar based foods and ingredients and may or may not be word plays or relevant to their personality. He also addresses them with similar pet names as above but more elaborate? You cant tell whether he is being condescending / teasing or not, as usual. Here are some names he calls the others,
Florent: “my dear cousin”, “my beloved cousin”, “my most adored cousin” etc - any kind of excessively affectionate terms. Also, “Biscuit”
High: “petite demoiselle” (little lady) - either out of old fashioned politeness or he is teasing her height. Also “sugar”
Victoire - like flo, variatons of my dearest sister, my beloved sister, etc. Also “Frangipane” (almond filling); a play on the french word “Frangine” (sister [colloquial])
Relle - Ferrero.........................................
Among all my characters he is most interested in Relle, High’s older brother. Cant tell if he is genuinely interested in him or just finds it fun to bother him. He loves Relle’s cat Chamallow, firstly because he loves cats, and secondly because her name plays exactly into his own usage of pet names (Chamallow = French for Marshmallow, but also a word play on “Chat” / cat ). He may or may not have hooked up with Relle once or twice but that is for some other time,
Appearance wise much like the usualy Sevignys he is relatively tall with an elegant silhouette, arched nose bridge and wavy platinum hair. His hair is short but his bangs are wavy and rather long ! His eyes are lavender and his mouth is permanently curved in a :3. He enjoys wearing silk scarves.
