Tsumugi: The surprise of suddenly discovering that Riku-san was the rescue subject, and the worries of whether or not it was okay to continue like this made it seem like a real rescue situation... is what they said.

Mitsuki: When the filming was over, I chatted with the commanding officer for a bit. He told me that by just hearing, “Thank you,” he feels like he can do his best again the next day. 

Mitsuki: After hearing that, I kind of felt like crying!

Mitsuki: I was wondering if there was anything I could do for these people, but there was nothing. The least I could do was to treat them out to some good food! 

Tsumugi: So that’s why you were cooking food at the mini afterparty!

Mitsuki: The commanding officer’s wife was apparently my fan, so at the afterparty she came up to me and asked for a handshake!  She was too overwhelmed with emotion that she cried, and the commanding officer playfully pushed me, saying, “Don’t make my woman cry!” (lol) I thought they were a nice couple, I want to become like that someday as well!

Mitsuki: I could only be there for a little bit, but the afterparty was fun! All of the team members were such good people..

Tsumugi: They were all people who aimed for the same goal, weren’t they...! (1)

Mitsuki: Yeah, that’s why when I went to say goodbye to the commanding officer, we both ended up crying to each other... (lol)

Tsumugi: Really!? I didn’t know! 

Mitsuki: It’s because the commanding officer wrote me a letter, even though he didn’t look like the type to do something like that! Of course I would cry!

(1): OK THIS WAS A HEADACHE,,,, i was screenshotting chats for me to do later so i didnt have to go ingame and i saw a bunch of hiragana in 「」these things and i was like : ) this does not seem fun haha So I Just Left It Aside For Days, ok now onto the actual explanation part: ohashi/okashi (and the like) are basically..... acronyms... for what to do in an evacuation drill???? o is osanai (Don’t Push), hashiranai (Don’t Run), shaberanai (Don’t Talk). for okashi, o and shi are the same but ka is kakenai, which also means Don’t Run. it was sorta hard to... come up with my own Englishified acronyms,,, so i just,, italicizing hard-to-translate jpn words is my favorite hobby tbh also for ohashimote/okashimote, the mo is modoranai (Don’t Return) and te is teigakunen yuusen (Lower Grades Priority) so like!!!! lil kiddos go first!! ye this chat made me want to die  my thoughts on translating this chat in a nutshell:

How To Put That Into English So I just Left It Like That.... the dictionary says its the “opening of a new theater”.... this was basically the premise of part 2 of the main story, where re:v is performing at the zero arena (along with the shuffle units) for their 5-year anniversary and re-opening the zero arena at the same time!!! (((((correct me if im wrong, my memory is fuzzy..!!

(2): so tsumu says め組 and jisho says its....... a fire brigade (in Edo) ...... also says that its an archaic word..... im not sure if im getting the point correctly but for the time being, i just put down fire brigade! ;;;;;;;
