Well for Graphite, if they are a human he is just a hater. Regardless though, he would be a little disgruntled and annoyed because “I am a full grown adult I don’t need mothering”. Then again, he does recognize and privately acknowledge the consideration put forth. Doesn’t trust it, when it is directed towards himself though.

Chalk is actually the more outwardly abrasive surprisingly enough. The only guardian parental figure he has had is Graphite and anyone trying to step in on that is very suspicious to him. He would be worried they will try to replace him or take him away. He also just doesn’t like being treated as young or mothered and gets really annoyed at Graphite when he does that too. Whereas Graphite would tolerate being mothered and fussed over, Chalk would become sarcastic then very snappy.

In their original AU, the two didn't have access to a very wide range of foods. Chalk's favorite food, though was syrniki (think like a sweet-ish cheese pancake). Graphite enjoyed dumplings a lot.

Yup! Most of the outfit things are just for flavoring and as a base drawing reference. I tend to imagine all the skeletons wear different clothes on different days like normal people do. It’s more so branding, ig.

The more “official” UMSFD fits for Graphite and Chalk are basically like how I drew them in my page banner. Tbh, anyone can draw them wearing anything though. It isn’t super important. Since, as you asked, there will be points in the story Graphite wears other things like a formal outfit.

The Commissar coat will be making a return. Currently, it’s being mended by one of the skeletons actually, though Graphite is perfectly happy thinking it’s ruined and not wearing it again. He would look a bit out of place in this world if he wore it, too.

Although I'd like to ask, what would they're reaction be if they met a baby ones version of themselves?? Well, not just Chalk or Graphite, I'd love to know the reaction of the other AU brothers

Chalk is astounded that plants can be so colorful. Like he has read old books where the flowers were described but nothing beats actually seeing them. And that isn’t to mention that he didn’t realize there is so much variety to flowers. Like you’re telling him both a rose, a bird of paradise, and a jade vine and more are all in the category of flowers? I imagine he really likes just seeing daisies in the grass too. The fact that they can grow so easily just about everywhere is amazing to him. And though they are ordinary, they are no less beautiful to him.

Graphite is less invested. He’s wary of how bright they can be in the way he’s wary of the sky being blue. Since he became District Commissar, he had the privilege of attending socialite events at which high ranking official could afford to display things like specially grown flowers. Indulgent, yes, but a show of wealth and power. Because of that, Graphite tends to associate flowers especially colorful and beautiful ones with power and extravagance. I personally think he’d be fascinated with dandelions though. Would never admit it but he thinks the way the seeds fluff flies off is fun.

Graphite, thinking Chalk would like dandelions: hey take a look at this. This plant makes a mess.

Chalk who didn’t hide in his room for three days straight, mostly indifferent: Yeah I’ve seen. Cap told me that you’re suppose blow on them to make wishes. I guess that’s kinda cool.

I mentioned how Graphite is a nerd and also that Chalk was university student in their og timeline, and how Chalk is a bit of a truant.

Graphite wanted to go to university so badly. He did get a scholarship to the Republik’s state university, but he couldn’t go and decided not to because he had to take care of Chalk. Work and caring for his brother was most important.

Sup dawg, and thanks! I'm glad you enjoyed it. I used to have a slight worry that people wouldn't like how he is kind of an asshole, so its funny to me that people like him more bc of it hahaha

Also, hm, that's a really hard question. A really good one, too.

I'd say that Chalk probably gets along best with Jupiter right now, but enjoys Cap's company the most. That isn't to say Chalk doesn't like Jupiter, far from it. It's just that hanging out with Jupiter makes Chalk feel very young, and Chalk is always in a rush to grow up and be seen as mature.

For Graphite, hmmm... Well definitely dislikes Red the most rn bc Pipe Wrench Incident™ but that's not the question. Everyone is kind of at the same level as "like" for Graphite but as far as not-hostile interactions he's had... Options are Cap, Blue, Black, Rus, Mars, and Jupiter. I think after his lil joke session with Mars and the nice talk, probably it would be Mars.
