Tonight’s hobby time was spent painting wood grain onto the weapon hafts of fourteen Nighthaunt Chainrasps.

It’s not much, but it’s honest work! 😂.

I’ve been batch painting these fellas for the last couple of weeks, grabbing a little painting time when I can.

With the woodwork being completed tonight, that leaves the black cloth and ethereal bodies, and a couple of fine details like the hourglass on one of the unit champions.

I’ll be glad to see these dues finished, that’s for sure.

Chainrasps "As an unnatural sickly green light filled the room and I could hear the sound of heavy shackles tearing at the wood of the polished floors I knew I would see the faces of my loved ones this one last time."

Wanting to paint something a little bit easier, I decided to do the last ten chainrasps. It was sort of relaxing to just throw in the paint. I did even less work this time than with the ten I did the last time. I revered to drybrushing them, rather than more careful edge highlights. The most annoying thing is how one of the minis arms broke off.
