Over at Foxbury, Jackson is settling in fairly well, even though he and Symia have not spoken to one another since the Winter Ball, almost ten months ago now. He, Gabe and Chadwick are living in the Dorms and Jackson’s dorm-mate is Adam Landgraab (grandson of Nancy) and Adam is quite an influence on Jackson, and not in a good way.

JACKSON- “Come on, Gabe you and Chadwick should go with us to the Dragon’s Inn, there is an amazing party going on. Adam can get you both in.”

ADAM- “For sure. There will be plenty of juice, and I know neither of you are interested, but lots of hot available females!”

CHADWICK- “You are right we are not interested in the females or the juice. We have mid terms we are studying for, and you should as well Jackson, your scholarship hinges on keeping your grades up.”

GABE- “Chad is right Jack. You need to be studying, these midterms count towards 40% of you final grade in almost all your classes. I need to start Quarterback out there with me, and if...

JACKSON- “I got this Gabe, no worries. Come on, just hang with us for a little while.”

GABE- “We are going to pass, Jack, sorry.  Maybe if we weren’t in the middle of midterms.”

ADAM- “Suit yourselves, boys. Come on Jack, we need to head out.”

JACKSON- “Right behind you. See you losers later...”

CHADWICK- (to Gabe) “I am not liking this “new” Jackson, Gabe. All he does is party since he and that Adam guy have been hanging out.”

GABE- “He will be okay, he is still reeling over Symia and that whole situation.”

CHADWICK- “Okay they just named Symia as Princess, Prince is next. Get ready, Gabe.”

GABE- “It is going to be Jackson, Chad, you and I both know it is. He is the star quarterback, the one with the full ride and much better looking.”

CHADWICK- “Why are you always all about Jackson? They do not pick the Prince on those qualities alone, Gabe. And you are just as good as Jackson Schrieber, on and off the field. And as far as looks go, you got him beat hands down!”

ANNOUNCER- “AND NOW TO NAME THIS YEARS WINTER BALL PRICE, The winner this year is one of our biggest football stars to ever come out of Brindleton High, and is also at the top of his graduating class. Congratulations, GABRIEL MATTHEWS!!”

GABE- “OH MY WATCHER!!  I did, I did win!”

CHADWICK- “See, what did I say? You ARE better than Jackson.  Npow go grab my cousin and you guys dance, but look for me as soon as it is over, Okay?”

The dance with the Prince and Princess of the Ball wasn’t very long, and Gabe was thankful for that. Now he wanted to get back to Chad and thank him for his support and all the encouragement he gave him, and for inviting him to be his date.

GABE- “I really want to thank you Chad. This really means a lot to me. I wasn’t even going to come to the ball, but you asked me and I thank you. And to think I won over Jackson!”

CHADWICK- “I told you Gabe. Jackson is okay, I mean I like him, but I like you a lot better. You have a lot of very nice qualities that Jackson doesn’t have. Oh, sorry I hope I haven’t embarrassed you.”

GABE- “Not at all. You are right, I always take a backseat to Jack, I mean he is the quarterback and all.  And if it wasn’t for him, I probably wouldn’t have even continued playing football. This was good for me in several ways. One, to remember that I am just as important as anyone else. and two, I should be more forward and act on my instincts.”

CHADWICK- “Yes, you should. Because your instincts are probably right.”

GABE- “Well I hope my instincts are right about this....

CHADWICK- “One more game, then soon graduation will be here, then prepare for Foxbury.  Are you ready for all of that, Gabe?”

GABE- “I suppose. just a little nervous and I’ve never been away from home before, so anxious as well.”

CHADWICK- “Foxbury is like home, at least once you get used to it. I prefer campus to being at home. I mean I love my uncle Adrian and everything he has done for me, but this past year has been life changing for me. I am an independent soul, so I suppose that is why I have done so well.”

GABE- “I am not so much. I suppose I will have to learn how to be though, huh?”

CHADWICK- “Hey, Jackson will be there, and Symia...and of course I will be there to help you get acclimated. You will do fine.”

Jackson and Symia are talking amongst themselves and not paying attention to Gabe and Chad.

JACKSON- “So, I guess this is good night, how about a good night kiss?”

SYMIA- “Of course, and I am serious, Jack, nothing to Gabe about any of this, okay?”

JACKSON- “Just kiss me, okay.”

GABE- “So you coming to the rally and the game, Chad?”

CHADWICK- “Yeah, sure.  I mean if you would like me to. Not a big fan of football, but sure I would love to see you play your final high school game.”

CHADWICK- “Listen, Gabe, I know this is short notice, but the winter ball is in a few weeks. The last event of the winter season. I was wondering, well I was hoping you would go with me... what do you think?”

GABE- “Uh...I hadn’t thought about going, I mean Balls are like football is to you, not a big fan of them. But, if you would like me to----

CHADWICK- “I would love for you to, it would mean a lot to me. I mean it is the social event of the season here, so to speak and I will be going back to Foxbury for the final semester just a few days after the Ball and...well I would like to spend some time with you before I go back.”

GABE- “Okay, sure. I would like that.”

CHADWICK- “Good...whew... that wasn’t so difficult.”

GABE- “Why would that be difficult for you, Chad. I mean we have been friends for a long time, of course I would go with you.”

CHADWICK- “Yeah, I just meant...well nothing. You are right, I don’t know why I thought it would be difficult.”

GABE- “I mean it’s not like it’s a date or something, right? Just two friends enjoying a night out.”

SYMIA- “So did you ask him?”

CHADWICK- “Yeah, I did. He said yes, just like you said that he would.”

SYMIA- “So why the long face, Chad. I mean you finally have a date with him.  A real date.”

CHADWICK- “Not really, he thinks it was just a friend asking a friend.”

SYMIA- “Chad, you need to tell him how you feel. I know Gabe likes you, You need to be honest with him. Let him know this is not just as friends.”

CHADWICK- “I know, and I will, but can we not talk about it? So did you tell Jack, about your situation?”

SYMIA- “Would you stop calling it that, Chad.  It’s not a situation, it’s a baby.”

CHADWICK- “Which means you lied to him didn’t you?”

SYMIA- “I can’t tell him right now. But I will. I promise.”

CHADWICK- “Well, you need to tell him pretty quick, before you start showing.”

JACKSON- “Why the huge smile on your face, Gabe?”

GABE- “Chad asked me to the Winter Ball, and he is coming to the game and rally.”

JACKSON- “Awesome, so you told him how you feel?”

GABE- “No, I didn’t want to freak him out, so I accepted his invitation as a friend.”

JACKSON- “Gabe Matthews... he knows you are gay, and he apparently likes you, you need to tell him how you feel about him. Chad is a great guy, and you don’t need to be afraid....”

GABE- “I am not afraid, I just don’t want to scare him off, I mean what if he doesn’t like me that way?”

JACKSON- “Are you crazy?  Have you seen the way he looks at you? He is into you Gabe, trust me.”

GABE- “Well, I will find out at the Ball, I suppose.  So is everything good with you and Symia?  I mean is she---”

JACKSON- “NO!  Thank the Watcher, she is not pregnant. But you can’t let her know I said anything to you about all of that mess.”

GABE- “Of course. You need to be more careful, Jack. Use protection, okay?”

JACKSON- “She is going on the pill.”

GABE- “Jack, it is just as much your responsibility as it is hers to be RESPONSIBLE.  Don’t put this all on her. They sell condoms for a reason.”

JACKSON- “Yeah, yeah yeah... I got it. No more unprotected sex. We are adults now, we both need to act like it, right?”

GABE- “18 doesn’t make you an adult , Jack, BEING an adult is what makes you an adult.  Making the right choices and thinking beforehand about the consequences of your actions! And yes, you are both adults now, but young immature adults that have their entire futures ahead of them. You both do not need a child.  So stop being so casual about it, okay?”

JACKSON- “Symia, so glad to see you.  I have missed you.  So how did things go?”

SYMIA- “Shhh just hold on, okay?”

CHADWICK- “Hey Gabe, how are you?”

GABE- “Good, what is up with those two? They act like they haven’t seen each other in weeks, and they just saw each other at school, not more than three hours ago!”

CHADWICK- “Who knows?, puppy love I suppose.”

GABE- “They are too much!”

CHADWICK- “Agreed!”

(Chadwick Brown and Symia Brown are creations from @manlysims​ Chadwick was Adrian Brown’s nephew from his sister and Symia is his niece from his brother. Franklin Brown is also their uncle.)

JACKSON- “So, are you going to tell me??”

SYMIA- “It was negative, Jack. Please keep it down, I don’t want Chad or Gabe to know anything about this.  You didn’t say anything to Gabe did you??”

JACKSON- “NO!  Not at all, you ask me not to. I am glad it is negative”

SYMIA- “Jack, would you please just shut up about it before they hear us talking about it!! Now, from this point on, we have to be extra careful.”

JACKSON- “So you were able to get an appointment at the clinic to get the---”

SYMIA- “SHHHH, yes, but no more messing around. We can not afford to have another scare, we may not be so lucky next time. Understand? Now PLEASE stop talking about it.”

JACKSON- “Sorry babe...so are you still going to the pep rally tomorrow night before the game?”
