Story concept for Fall Fumble 2020

When calm, rational, careful Cho Chang meets fearless, laid-back, spontaneous Charlie Weasley, she can’t fall into bed with him fast enough.

Can’t say yes too soon.

And can’t deny that the crumbling house and all its acreage are being offered at an extraordinary price.

If the selling agent’s smile is a bit too tight, or if Charlie’s plans for renovation are a bit too optimistic, Cho doesn’t care to see it.

And once they’ve made it safe enough to move in, she reasons that houses settle at night. Doors close in the wind. Shadows shift.

And surely, she thinks, there’s an explanation for the sound of someone whistling in the dark at the bottom of the stair.
