We don't know how long the War lasted start to finish nor how long it takes to sail to Marineford from Sabaody, but I think it says something that all the Supernovas were watching from the archipelago and then they all decided to hoof it to a war zone the minute the transmission was cut. That sort of go-getter attitude is probably why they were able to rise up as the cream of the crop amongst their generation of pirates
