As a rule, I am not even remotely a jewellery person. That said, I have one necklace I've worn every single day since the ninth grade; it's a long leather cord with a leather pouch containing a stone. Susie bought it for me in Ottawa yeeeears ago, and I started wearing it in high school to keep her close to me since we didn't see each other much anymore. I feel naked without it these days.
