Damian, your crush is showing.
Ch191, An old error?
Layla is Lord Canopus??
But Al is definitely her split personality.
Did Vega's and Canopus' rooms (stars on the doors) get switched around in ch117 and ch123?!?
That's what I wonder. It is the only thing that makes sense, to me.
Which would mean Lord Vega is one person and more like a servant in status... which explains now why Polaris and Vega were sent to run errands, like blood deliveries. They would be the two lower-status "lords".
Fixed it?? 😆
Let me clarify: I could still be wrong about this. Layla/Al could be Lord Vega, and I simply fell for some clever misdirection -- some red herrings.
We shall see....

Rambling about Fairies - Manga Chapter 122 + 123
Laxus' hair and clothes start to wisp and fray away to look like they're fusing into lightning here. It's the same way Natsu is drawn when he's angry, except with fire.
So. It's kinda cool that there were a few real hints to the Lightning Dragon thing before we actually got to the reveal.
I mean, Laxus already could turn into lightning before, but this specific angry element syndrome is more Natsu's thing than his.

The fact that isayama issued a redraw of this panel shows how much he emphasized on erens expression here which makes sense because we got the whole scene from mikasas pov but erens pov is unknown so the only thing we can get something out of is his expression. I can't help but wonder what yams saw in older version that made him correct it. The answer lies in the difference itself. That proves the significance of this panel and that there’s more to it which we can get to know from erens pov.
Note: he looks more emotional and vulnerable in the updated version almost as if he's seeking closure
Here U Are by Djun ─ ch.123
Chapter 123 is another chapter I don’t have a lot to say about because it’s mostly fighting and set up, but I do recommend you go read it because it is hilarious (Zoro posing to be a statue being a highlight) but also because it’s clever its construction.
Miss Goldenweek is present for, like, one panel early in the chapter to remind the audience that she exists, but then she disappears until this final page to set up an amazingly effective cliffhanger. Oda establishes that the only thing strong enough to brute force Mr. 3′s wax is more of Mr. 3′s wax -- which might come into play later, I can’t actually remember -- while also throwing the first roadblock into the Usopp’s fight with Mr. 5, namely that 5 is immune to Usopp’s strongest bullet, his gunpowder star. It’s also important to note that Oda has foreshadowed how impossibly hot Usopp’s tabasco star is earlier in the series
meaning the audience does have all the information they need to predict how the fight will play out, which I think is fun with more puzzle-style fights that characters like Nami and Usopp tend to take part in.
