Vee was sitting in his room shaking having just woken up from a very scawy dream™. He knew he needed his Mama Lo so he stood up on wobbly legs and walked to Mama Lo's room.  

 He knocked on the door before sitting down on the floor in front of it unable to hold himself up any more. 

 "I'm coming give me one second!" Logan said yelling through the door muttering to himself about why anyone would be up at the godforsaken hour of 4 in the morning.   

  Logan opened the door to see Virgil sitting on the floor in front of him. "Mama!" Virgil cried softly making grabby hands at his mama. "Hey baby, what's wrong? It's too early for a little one like you to still be awake." Logan said picking his baby up and bringing Vee into his room.      

 Virgil teared up remembering the very scawy dweam™. "Scawy Dweam" Virgil said softly curling into Logan.   

 "Oh baby, no I'm so sorry but don't cry I'm here for you now." Logan said, wiping Virgil's single tear that had leaked down his face. "Hey how about you and Mama cuddle for a little bit? Hm? Would that make Mama's baby happy?" Logan said walking over to his bed.  

 "Yesh! I wan' cuddle Mama!" Virgil exclaimed holding onto his Mama tighter. 

"Haha of course little one." Logan said, sitting Virgil on the bed. "Baby how old are you?" Logan asked bending down to be eye level with Virgil.

 "Um I ish dis many" Virgil said holding up a singular finger. "Aw you're just my little baby aren't you?" Logan said, giving Virgil a kiss to the forehead. 

 Virgil giggled and leaned forward. "Oh be careful baby!" Logan said, leaning Virgil back "You don't want to fall off the bed. Now how about we get you in a diaper and your onesie?" Virgil let out a noise of agreeance laying on the bed. 

 Logan went into his closet and grabbed out Virgil's favourite onesie and one of his diapers. He walked over to Virgil and sat him up taking off his shirt and before taking his pants and underwear off before putting him in a diaper. He then put on Virgil's onesie before zipping him up. 

 "Paci?" Virgil asked quietly. Logan grabbed Virgil's paci off of his bedside table before popping into his baby's mouth. 

 Logan scooped Virgil up and layed him under his covers so that Vee could get comfortable while Logan turned on the night light and turned off his lamp.

 Logan then slipped into bed next to Virgil holding his baby close to his body. Virgil snuggled up to Virgil. "Luv chu mama!" Virgil said yawning and closing his eyes. "I love you too baby"

 Logan woke up to the sun streaming through his window and an oddly warm body near him. He opens his eyes and sees Virgil laying next to him. But for some reason he felt really warm to him. 

 "Mama!" Virgil said whining. "Yes baby?" Logan said chuckling. "M blech Mama" Virgil said, resting his head in Logan's neck. 

 "Oh baby I'm sorry you're not feeling good. Do you wanna have a bath then soup, juice, and watch some TV?" Logan asks, kissing Virgil's forehead. 

 "Yes please mama!" Virgil said, laying on top of Logan. "Vee, baby, I need you to move so I can get up." Logan said, patting Virgil's bum. "Nuh uh no leave mama" Virgil said snuggling even closer. 

 "Ok baby but you gotta at least let me stand up" Logan said scooching Virgil over before standing up and quickly picking Virgil up. "What do you want first a bath or soup?" Logan asked, holding Virgil close to him. "I wan bath p'ease!" Virgil said, laying his head on Logan's shoulder. 

 Logan walked with Virgil to the bathroom and turned it on. He let the bath warm up before taking Virgil's clothes off and putting the boy in the bath. 

 "Do you want your duck?" Logan asked, already knowing Virgil's answer. "Yesh p'ease Mama" Vee said, taking his duckie from Mama. 

 Virgil played in the bath for a little while before he decided he was done. "Mama wan out!" Vee said reaching for Logan. 

 "Ok baby come here." Logan picked Virgil up with a towel and dried him off."Baby do you wanna pick out your clothes for today?" Logan asked after he put Virgil's diaper on. 

 Vee jumped up a toddled over to his special drawer and grabbed out his skeleton onesie and his fluffy bat socks. "Wear dis Mama?"

 "Of course baby" Logan said, helping Vee into his onesie and socks. "Ok baby you wanna come with me while I make you some soup?" 

 Virgil shook his head while reaching up for Logan to pick him up and carry him. Logan did so, bringing Virgil with him. He sat Virgil down next to him on the floor with a coloring book and crayons.

 Logan quickly whipped up some soup and got Vee some juice. "Virgil, baby, do you want juice in your sippy cup or in your bottle?" Logan asked. "Uhm bottle p'ease Mama."

 Logan did as Virgil asked before moving them back to his room. "What movie or show do you wanna watch?" 

 "Can we watch Lab Rats?" Vee says curling into Logan's side. "Sure baby, now let me feed you" Logan said turning on the show before feeding Virgil his food and juice. 

 When he finished Logan sat the empty dishes on his desk before snuggling with Virgil as they both fell asleep.

 Logan woke up and saw that Virgil was still asleep. Unsure of whether or not he was little Logan checked his diaper anyways. Seeing as it was relatively dry it could wait until Virgil woke up to see if he needed a change. 

 Logan decided he would go sit in his chair while reading a book for a little while. Patton was in the kitchen cooking breakfast so Logan knew that one of the others would be down soon. 

 Roman came running into the room with Remus on his tail. Deceit walked into the kitchen to help Patton with breakfast. 

 "Can you imbeciles shut your mouths for two seconds? Virgil is trying to sleep and I'm trying to read and quite frankly it's hard when to monkey brained dolts are running around and shouting!" Logan said angrily. The twins exchanged a look with each other before turning to Logan. 

 "Come on you know you love us!" They said at the same time to Logan. "No I don't. I don't have time for such trivial and unnecessary things such as love" 

 Logan then turned around and came face to face with Virgil who gave a little pouty baby face. Logan immediately melted at the sight and picked up Virgil walking over to his seat and sitting with Virgil curled up to his chest. 

 "This changes nothing," Logan said, making direct eye contact with the two brothers. "Yes sir, Of course sir" They say immediately walking away from the Mad Mama™ and Soft Babey™. 

Soon breakfast was ready and Logan carried Virgil over and sat him down taking his rightful place next to his baby. Everyone quickly ate up their breakfast, sitting the dishes in the sink, and heading off to do their own things. 

 "Hey baby what do you wanna do?" Logan asked, picking up Virgil and carrying him into the living room. "Do puzzle?" Logan smiled and summoned his Alice in Wonderland puzzle book. 

 Logan smiled as he watched Virgil work on the puzzles. "Mama! Mama! Lookie! Lookie!" Virgil said showing the puzzle he'd worked out. "I'm so proud of you baby!" Logan said smiling at his baby.

 Remus walked in and started to poke at Virgil. "Virgie, Virgie, Virgie, Virgie, Virgie." Remus said quietly and repeatedly to antagonize Virgil. "Stop it! You're being annoying!" Virgil yelled at Remus. 

 Remus began to cry because Virgil yelled at him. "Dee Dee! He yell at me!" Deceit picked up his little and glared at Logan. "Vee you can't yell at Remus go sit in time out for now"

 Virgil hmphed and sat down facing the wall of the stairs. He sat there for about 5 minutes. "Ok baby you can be done" 

 He's upset and doesn't like the fact that he got in trouble because of Remus' actions. He pulls his hood over his head. "Vee?" Logan asks, holding out his arms for Virgil. 

 "Nu talk to me, I'm angy" Virgil says pulling on his hoodie strings. Logan scoops up his baby and tickles his sides. "We can't be sad now baby."

 "But it not fair! He poked at me I did notin to hims yets I'ms in trouble?!" Virgil says angrily. "I know baby I know but it's ok I'm not mad"

Deceit calls Roman while little:

Roo (This is the most common and just on par to his name while little it is rare to hear Deceit call him his full name unless hes in trouble)

Roo Roo (While Roo is just on par to a name, Roo Roo is more a silly thing, Deceit will sometimes just randomly say it over and over, changing the tone (never any negetive tones, but like silly, shooked, excited that kind of thing) Which makes Roman giggle up a storm

Little Princess / Princess (While little it’s rare to hear Deceit call Roman Princey, Going with Princess instead, because sometimes a prince needs a break rescuing others and needs to be rescue from themselves. Also because Roman wears a lot of female little clothes. He loves dresses because they are twirly with no pants (he hates pants and only will have his legs covered if it’s footie pajamas)

Dragon (Only used when Roman is being a cranky fussy baby. Tends to have another part to it, most commonly “Fussy Dragon” and “Cranky Dragon” In the end this however doesn’t encourage Roman to stop being fussy, but instead just change his whining babbles into Rawrs of annoyance.

A lot of cutesy silly names (Including referring to him as cartoon characters, animals, and so on)

Roman calls Deceit while little:

Da’Dee (First and foremost the thing Deceit is called almost 24/7 when Roman is little is Da’Dee, but more pronounced “dah-dEE” this is just his way of saying Daddy. He puts force in the E part, and when whining will drag the e out.

Sssssss (Really just snake sounds, he will make at Deceit. Normally Deceit will stick out his split tongue at Roman playfully making him burst into giggles)

Mah! (Roman is very possessive of Deceit,any sign of someone getting more attention from Dee than him will get him loudly claiming ownership)

That’s it Roman is pretty nonverbal while little

Deceit calls Roman while big:

Roo (When he’s taking care of Roman big or little it tends to slip out. Roman doesn’t really mind it though, he likes being called Roo big or little)

Princess (When Roman is big, he does have a habit of playfully teasing Roman. This nickname isn’t a cruel thing and only used when they are alone. It causes Roman to go bright red and hide his face in his hand. But, he does love being called Princess by Deceit even if it makes him blushy

Disney Freak/Nut (Self explained)

A lot of random nicknames that makes Roman blush, groan, or smile. (Roman ended up corrupting Deceit with all his nickname calling. None of these names ever are meant to upset or mock Princey in a hurtful way. Deceit would never hurt Roman on purpose, that’s the opposite of what the scaly side’s goals are!) 

Roman calls Deceit while big:

Dee (The reason why his little side force so hard on the dee part of Da-Dee. It’s very common for him to use Dee over Deceit unless he’s upset with the scaly side

Snake (Not a bad thing at all, Roman in fact secretly loves Deceit’s scales, while big or little he enjoys petting his scales. He honestly wishes he was more unique like Deceit. Especially because he feels like a outsider from the other sides. (and he tends to be due to his own behavior) Deceit doesn’t mind his scales being touch, he loves it actually) 

My Royal Knight / Guard (Roman sees just how much Deceit protects him, being the ego a good bit of Deceit’s job is to protect Roman. So that nickname popped up, mostly to show that he saw all of the scaly side’s hard work!)

Dad (Even when Roman isn’t little Deceit tends to care for him due to his terrible self care. So he will playfully say dad a lot to “mock” Deceit secretly tho Roman loves having someone who actually cares about him, because he feels like none of the others do, not really)

Coach (This nickname is a reference to how Patton explained Deceit’s job. It makes Deceit actually feel quite nice because he’s not bad, like everyone thought, he was just doing his best to help Thomas)

I quickly wrote this in about 30 minutes sorry if it's not the best.

 Roman had been a lot more upset and might I say pissy lately. Honestly it was quite spooky to little me. I haven't talked to him in a week because last time I tried to speak to him he told me to go away. 

 I can feel my head going fuzzy and I don't know what to do. Normally either Roman (daddy) or Remus (papa) are here to take care. 

 However because of all the drama Remus has also been more distant and now my brain is trying to convince that Roman hates me again and so does Remus and it's getting hard to stand. 

 'Oh no' I think to myself as I feel my slip. I jump up and rush to where Uncle Janus was standing talking to his boyfriends, Uncle Patton and Uncle Logan. 

 I shove my face into the sweater he was wearing. Janus stiffened and stopped talking instantly knowing something was up. "Hey stormcloud, what's up?"

 "Daddy an papa scawy an mean" Virgil says muffled by the sweater his face was in. Janus laughed turning around his laughter immediately seizing when he noticed that Virgil was crying and not joking. 

 "Well, hun, can you tell me what's up?" Janus said, picking Virgil up in his arms. " Daddy was stressed an angry an got mad and told me to leave him alone an Papa is distant an I think they hate me again"

 This distressed Janus very greatly. "Ok hun I'll go talk to them do you wanna cuddle with Logan and Patton?" 

 "Yeah p'ease, will you join when you come back?" Virgil said trying to be calm but I could tell he was scared I was gonna leave him. "Yes hun I'll come right back and we can watch a movie or two"

 I handed Virgil over to Logan so they could go sit on the couch as I walked into Roman and Remus' room. 

 "Roman! Remus! At attention!" I yelled Roman and Remus immediately jumping up and standing in front of me. 

 "What did you do? Why did you get upset with Virgil? Why are you being distant to him?" I said sternly. 

  "But we didn't do anything! Sure I told him to leave me alone but that was because I was busy!" Roman said defensively. "Yeah! I was busy too helping Roman out!" Remus said less defensively. 

 "Oh really? Then why did Virgil come running into the living room crying about how 'Daddy and Papa were angry and didn't like him and hated him?' Can you tell me why that happened?"

 Roman and Remus made eye contact with each other and realized they royally screwed up. "I want you to stay right here and think about what you did and if Virgil is comfortable with talking to you I'll bring him here" 

 Janus said that leaving the room before they got a chance to say another word. 

 "Hey vee, are you ready for those movies?" Janus said smiling at Virgil when he saw how happy he was. "Yeah watch movie now p'ease" They smiled all smiled and watched The Nightmare Before Christmas and Frozen 2.

 Once the movies were over Logan and Patton headed to their rooms. "Baby do you wanna sleep with me for the night or do you wanna go talk to Papa and Daddy?" 

 "I wanna talk to Papa an Daddy but if they mean cans I still sleeps with you?" Vee asked leaning into Janus' arms. "Of course stormcloud, let's go"

 Janus carried Virgil to the twin's room. Janus opened the door and sat Virgil down. "Now remember Virgil don't hesitate to come get me but I don't think that'll be necessary" Janus said staring into their souls as he said that. "Ok I love you I'll be in my room" Janus said, kissing Virgil's forehead before leaving the room. 

 Virgil looked down not wanting to look at the mentally bigger men. "Virgil can you look at us?" Roman asked carefully.

 Virgil listened and looked up tears in his eyes. "Oh, Vee don't cry we are sorry" Remus said, scooping Virgil into his arms. Vee giggled at Remus and that made the both of their hearts melt.

Once they find out about him and he stops just being a scaredy clingy baby to Dadee then yep! These playdates take place when everything has cooled down and everyone is comfortable with everyone, since their first playdates were just a bundle of awkward nerves for Roman and what can he do? with the other two

Logan and Roman Playdates

Logan loves teaching “baby roo” about everything. But, sometimes in little space it tends to be simple things like when they are painting together Logan explaining how Red and Blue makes Purple. Roman smiles and nods happily. Secretly he’s like in his head ‘Yah I know, ‘m a baby but I’m not stupid!’

Logan likes helping caretakers with Roman to show he’s a “big” boy and because he gets lots of praise for doing it (Something that Roman and Logan have in common, their love for praise) This works great when Roman is feeling more on the lower end of his age range, because Logan’s willing to play with the baby toys and do the baby activities to be a good boy

When Roman is real little, they will bring out his baby toys. At first Logan thought it would be really stupid. But he found enjoyment in organizing the alphabet blocks in the right order (He started doing it as a stacking game to make it more interesting to Roman, so he tried to all the right letters in the tower before they fall down) The blocks are his favorite baby toys, but he also enjoys reading Roman the baby books, because they are simple enough he doesn’t end up messing up at all!   

Another thing they have in common is their love for story time. During a playdate it’s highly unlikely that Deceit won’t be forced to read at least 2 stories. Logan however does not approve of Deceit going off book, but adores his silly voices.

If Roman is feeling on his older range, one of their caretakers will take them out in the nature (in the dreamspace) and let them explore.

Out of Roman’s age ranges Logan prefers it when Roman is feeling more around 2, but will still play with him when hes littler.

Logan doesn’t like the messy arts (Which Roman does lean more on), but the two will color together. Logan sometimes gets bothered if things aren’t right (Like when Roman decided to color the grass pink, because grass is green, so you should color it green) Logan’s coloring books are always filled with very well done coloring pages with shading and everything, ALWAYS in line and ALWAYS as accurate as little him can make it. Roman not so much, he colors outside of the lines on PURPOSE! (Example when he colored big butterfly wigs on a picture in his princess coloring book) He doesn’t color things realistically like Logan ether, like the pink grass or when he turns a coloring page of baby dumbo into a pink elephant because it’s Dumbo and the pink elephant’s  daughter.

Once when they were exploring nature, Roman and Logan fell into a mud puddle. Logan wanted a bath right now! Patton was the one watching them, so he was going to have them take a bath together, this did not turn out well. A lot of loud screaming and crying from Roman, until Deceit ended up showing up and was like, ummmm nooooooo, Roman’s real sensitive about his body.

Virgil and Roman Playdates

At first Virgil was really unsure and nervous, because Roman’s a baby and to little Virgil even though he knows Roman is tough, probably the strongest and hardest to hurt of all the sides (In Virgil’s eyes) Baby Roman could get hurt real easy

This is not untrue, but mostly just because Roman physically is weaker then he lets on to be. (He just pretends all his battle wounds aren’t there and don’t hurt)

Virgil still prefers Patton being the caretaker who watches over their playdate and will be in a bit of bad mood if it’s just Deceit. On the flip side Roman has a little unease when Patton is the one there and Deceit isn’t, but he doesn’t say anything. The moment Deceit comes back, he’s a little extra clingy though. The moment Patton comes back Virgil tells him all the cool things they did completely forgetting how much trouble he gave Deceit.

The two of them are both big fans of coloring, for Virgil it helps his anxiety. He takes a long time to make sure it’s perfect, it’s not like Logan. It’s not shaded or anything crazy like that, it’s also tends to fit in reality over Roman’s. Virgil likes other forms of art too, They tend to make a lot of arts and crafts together.

Virgil adores making slimes, and playing with slime. Roman likes it too. They do have their differences with the slime however, Virgil prefers glow in the dark slimes, black slime, or purple slime. He likes making a different slime for each thing. While Roman likes adding everything to one big slime, He also tries to add glitter to every single slime (and personally Virgil not a big fan of raw glitter because it gets on him, glitter in bottles and cool down jars is fine as long as they don’t have any chance of getting glitter on him)

Putty is good too

They both adore squishies and stuffed animals.

Logan, Virgil and Roman Playdates

This can be a little harder at times, because Logan and Virgil always play with each other they fall into a pattern that at times will leave Roman feeling like an outsider. Which ever caretaker is watching them has to be the one who tells them to remember Roman, because he will just sit there looking adorable sad and lost

Since they all like coloring that’s a big thing they do all together.

Going to the park tends to end up with them splitting off from each other. And not a great activity if they are trying to help the little ones to bond. Virgil’s favorite area of the park is the sandbox, Logan’s is the slides (to put things on and watch them slide down, and of course him sliding down too) Roman adores the swings and being pushed. He likes pretending he can fly. But, he has to use a baby swing his size due to the fact once he was using a “big boy” swing and let go of the chains, while being pushed and ended up fall and hitting the back of his head. This happened twice (because the second time he’d promise to remember to hold the chains, which he forgot minutes later)

They all do play pretend too, though it’s not Logan’s preferred choice in activities he does love being the teacher and the other littles (and which ever big watching them) being his students. Virgil surprising everyone likes to play knights and princess. In which he’s a brave knight Logan is the wizard and Roman the princess. (At first Roman had been the prince, but he was having a miserable time, luckily Deceit was watching them and helped make him the princess since Roman struggle with using his words, even when he’s feeling on his older side)

Little Virgil hated seeing Roman get to play with all the toys he could imagine.  It wasn’t fair at all! Sure he had toys, but they weren’t as unique or as many as Roman. And if he wanted a unique stuffed animal he and Papa had to go to Roman! It wasn’t fair! He personally hated how almost all his build a bear kitties were made with the help of Roman. It just wasn’t fair!

Roo loved Dee lots and lots. But, he had to do things of course so he was left to play all alone a lot. It didn’t make him angry at Daddee or anything! But, toys didn’t really make him distracted. Specially not when he saw how much cuddles Logan and Patton always gave to Virgil cause he had panic attacks. His stuffies didn’t give him cuddles as good. Dee was really the only one who gave him cuddles and he got busy.

He had finally finished all his work. Roman was over the moon happy. He could feel himself on the edge of slipping into his littlespace. And he was okay with it! He  deserved it! Roman had worked really hard! He had been working so hard for the past 4 days forcing himself to stay big. It was time for him to be little

It was time for him to be little

For some reason it didn’t seem to work, he just needed to jump start it okay, he tried coloring but it wasn’t as fun and it just made him feel more bad that he couldn’t regress. Not even watching the care bear worked!

Maybe he no longer could regress

For years he had wished for these episodes just to stop, and he wouldn’t have to suffer. But, now he liked regressing, it made him feel good. He even secretly did it on purpose now! If he didn’t regress anymore would Deceit even wanna love him anymore? What would happen to them? Would the others just go back to being mean to him?

Did his wish finally come true? It was too late now! He liked regressing it wasn’t fair! It wasn’t, soon big fat tears came pouring down his face. Deceit heard the heartbreaking cries from the hallway and rushed to Roman’s room. Opening the door he saw his Princess crying his heart out.

“Princess what’s wrong?” He cooed, Roman’s eyes were too focus to adult to be his lil Roo self. The cries were not like any cries he had ever heard Roman do before. Normally he was a very quiet crier

“Daddy I’m cured and now I’m never ever be little again and you won’t be my daddy anymore and the others will stop caring about me again.” He sobbed as Deceit got closer. The scaly side smile sitting down pulling the creative side into his lap.

“First thing’s first no matter what I will always be your daddy, regressing isn’t a curse or illness you can’t be cured of it. You’re going to be okay Princess. The others won’t just stop caring about you. Everything will be okay.” Deceit spoke calmly with a soothing voice. Roman sniffled not saying anything he rested his head on Deceit’s chest, listening to the heart beat. He was still speaking words of comfort. Deceit smelled nice, he smelled like safeness and love, he felt warm and made Roman feel protected with how firm and strong the taller side held him. It was funny because as he calmed down, he didn’t even notice him slipping further and further into littlespace.

Sometimes Deceit and Roman liked to pretend. They would use the Dreamspace using Roman’s powers over the place (Technically all the sides had some control over the dreamscape and even mindspace. But, Roman had the most of course) to make a little town with a cute little yellow house with white accents on the small house and a white fence. In the house was a simple house it wasn’t anything special. There was a nursery, playroom, and a master bedroom. The backyard was large with a pretty little garden and a lot of room to play with. Even a playset for a little princess. But, most importantly in the backyard was “Witchy” their dragon puppy. (Which was Roman’s stuffed dragon, the dragon witch) It wasn’t anything special but it was their home away from the mindspace.

 But, they weren’t just stuck in their adorable house. They would go out in town. In that town everyone was nice. They didn’t see Roman as a weird adult acting like a baby, they just saw a cute little one! Deceit would go “shopping” and he would be in the cart. Sometimes they would go to the library and listen to story times. Or the time they went to the zoo!

Sure it wasn’t like they were going on adventures in medieval times. Sure it was things that Humans did everyday. But, sometimes it felt nice pretending they weren’t just part of a human. It was nice to pretend that they were just a little family living a simple peaceful life. And Roman wouldn’t trade those “adventures” for anything in the world
