There's a trend on tiktok right now where you say an unpopular opinion because it's getting banned and like...why not? So I made a goofy video about not liking Steve Harrington and I got sent THREE SEPARATE DEATH THREATS and people saying I didn't actually watch the show.

i know daenerys is important to people. she is an important character in pop culture and in-universe. but she doesn’t have to be perfect or pure or innocent to occupy that role. even with dark dany (and in some cases because of dark dany), there are important themes and lessons in dany’s story. and dany’s positive influences in certain people’s lives is not negated. maybe you don’t like it, and yeah the execution was shit, but dark dany has always been a possibility. i get that it sucks seeing a character you care about and believe in do bad things. it’s a tragedy. but the same way she had the capacity to do good, she had the capacity to do evil, like we all do if we aren’t careful
