I don't typically make artwork for my stories or whatever, but I had a vision for an upcoming chapter (also the physical drive of a lazy person lol), so I whipped something up in MSPaint (using my mouse).

I haven't touched that program since my Windows Vista days, so a lot has changed, but at the heart of the program, it's still the same lazy software tool I used to doodle shapes in lol.

Anyways, I was listening to Celldweller when writing my next chapter, and that band has so many hits that really work well with the Murder Drones universe. I ended up titling this piece Black [NULL] Star for obvs reasons.

for most of my life, i was the kind of person who listened to game soundtrack more than actual music NOW LET ME EXPLAIN BEFORE I GET SHOT

growing up i was huge into half-life (still am) so id listen to its tracks constantly when growing up, the same goes with bo2, geometry dash, anything peak you can name. then in 2024, i played and beat dead rising 2 and heard celldweller’s tracks for the first time in that game. it took me a while, but i eventually eventually grew very attached to celldweller’s music. so in a way i still listen to game soundtrack oh god the fun police are breakjing down my door HELP HELOLCJ HDHDBCNZIHEDN

theres this little joke i have between me myself and i & you kinda need  to know some ball to understand it but ill lay it out

theres this demo by celldweller called "switchback (detroit 2000)" and the joke is that whenever i type in parentheses i have a 1/4 rng chance of tacking on an extra set of parentheses that say "(detroit 2000)" at the end
