Humble Sea + Cellarmaker Kooka Troopa Beach DDH Hazy IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Brewed for Humble Sea's 9th Anniversary, this is quite excellent -- just bursting with tropical fruit and candy-like citrus notes, and the body is very soft and fruity. The fruit complexity lingers on the palate, with very little bitterness in the finish.

There Does Not Exist + Cellarmaker + Alvarado Street Motor Spirit West Coast Double IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. An excellent exemplar of this style -- lots of citrus and berry and pine and a nice bit of resinous/herbal notes in the body. The body has bitterness towards the finish, as expected, but is well-balanced and just really great all around.
Burgeon + Cellarmaker Sick Suds! DDH IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 4 of 4. Big, bright, and tropical in the nose, and a very slightly soft body that manages to quite light. Just bursting with hop notes and so easy-drinking. It's hard to pinpoint exactly why this stands out of the pack for me, it's just the combination of hop complexity and lightness while having just a slight creaminess to the body still.

Burgeon Beer + Cellarmaker Kia Ora New Zealand Pilsner (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. Incredibly bright NZ hop profile in the nose on this -- tropical, stone fruit, citrus, and coconut all mix a bit. The body is incredibly light, which is refreshing, but I almost wish slightly more was there to balance this. Still, incredibly tasty, and the nose is excellent.
Almanac + Cellarmaker Dank Daze Hazy IPA (Picked up at Windmill Farms). A 3 of 4. A really solid hazy IPA with lots of tropical and berry notes as well as quite a bit of orange citrus. Quite a bit of sticky lacing to this and a touch of oiliness in the hazy body. Finishes with a bit of herbal / pine notes towards the finish. Quite nice.
Croissant sandwiches for the win. Try not to shop at whole foods these days but the call of vegan croissants could not be ignored.
Sandwich featured tofurky slices and trader joe’s cheddar. Soup was also from trader joe’s, their new garden veggie (which is quite good.)
