No worries. It's really disappointing. I'm now stuck between wanting to watch because of everything Cavill said and how well he seems to know the witchers, and skipping it because the first glimpse of Eskel was so bad.
Also, the same people who were braying about it being a "book adaptation" and game fans needing to chill out, have now switched to "it's a standalone and we shouldn't expect it to remain loyal to the books". I wonder why? Well, here I am, a book and game fan, disappointed on both sides.
