Like a cedar tree we also get better with time. We all just need a change in perspective. Each scar, wrinkle, cancerous growth and pocket of rot is what makes an ancient old growth cedar so special, unique, and beautiful. As we embrace our aging and imperfections we see the truth behind societies suffering. The building process of the crystal table, by far the most work I've put into any area of the bus so far. It symbolizes the heart chakra of the entire project and will glow green at night with glow powder like a phosphorescent tidal pool. I wanted to create a sacred focal point around the burl table where food is blessed and artwork is created. After the final coat it will be a time capsule containing shells, crystals, fossils and stones from all my previous trips around the world.
