giving myself grace for having a panic response in an academic space after the trauma ive experienced
the textbook had this whole thing about only saying positive things in writers workshops and obviously i would NEVER give someone constructive criticism unless they asked for it but it does alarm me that the mindset of the book seems wholly against it. idk maybe i'm just build different or at a point in my creative journey were i'm ready for negative feedback and have developed enough confidence in my craft to take it well. so it does alarm me that the goals of the textbook we are all using as a guide conflicts so much with my personal goals
