CCMT 2020 - Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan./M.Des. admissions (CCMT) 2020 is an online admission process being organized by Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur for all National Institutes of Technologies (NITs) and several other institutes viz. IIITM Gwalior, PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, IIITDM Kancheepuram, IIIT Vadodara, SLIET Longowal, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, PEC Chandigarh, IIIT Allahabad, Central University of Rajasthan, University of Hyderabad, Central University of South Bihar Patna, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra and IIEST Shibpur.

About CCMT 2020

CCMT-2020 is a common platform for candidates to apply for M.Tech./ M.Arch./ M.Plan./M.Des. programmes, based on their GATE score of years 2018, 2019 and 2020, in all NITs, IIEST Shibpur, and some IIITs & GFTIs Institutions namely -

Central University of Rajasthan, ABV-IIITM Gwalior, IIITDM Jabalpur, IIIT Allahabad, SLIET Longowal, IIEST Shibpur, NIFFT Ranchi, SPA Vijayawada, Punjab Engineering College Chandigarh, IIITDM Kancheepuram, IIIT Vadodara, Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra, University of Hyderabad, and Central University of South Bihar Patna

This centralized system has replaced the older system, wherein students had to apply individually to various Institutes and go to every Institute for appearing in interview/counseling.

This year a new feature of online document verification has been introduced. For this purpose, after seat allotment, the candidates will be required to upload the needful documents. For all guidelines, the prospective candidates are advised to carefully read the information brochure.

Eligibility Criteria for CCMT 2020

Candidates can check below the eligibility criteria for CCMT 2020:-

Candidates should have a valid GATE score of year 2018/ 2019/ 2020.

Candidates should have scored at least 6.5 CGPA out of 10 or 60% for OC/OC-EW/OB category and 6.0 CGPA or 55% for SC/ST/PwD category in the qualifying degree.

Only primary mode of evaluation i.e. CGPA or Percentage will be considered while verifying the eligibility.

If the result of the qualifying degree is awaited, a candidate will get provisional admission if he fulfills the minimum qualifying degree requirements by September 16, 2020. In this case all exams should have been conducted by July 15, 2020.

The eligibility for each programme is defined based on certain combinations of degree disciplines and GATE paper.

The candidate has to fulfill the special eligibility criteria that is applicable in few participating institutes. Candidates have to check the official website of CCMT to know about the special eligibility criteria.

Candidates who possess any certification form any of the professional societies (IE, ICE, AeSI, IIM, IIE, IETE, IIChemE) and have been enrolled before the deadline are also eligible to participate in the CCMT 2020 online counselling session.
