A chuckle escapes him, and he allows a smile to start curving his mouth as he glances over at her. “I could say the same about you,” he warns, no edge or heat to his voice for once. For the moment. “Don’t tell me you’re planning to come back and fix my ‘moral compass’,” he adds with a snort.

‘ oh look at this, i broke up with my boyfriend. ’ the brunette laughs, leaning over to show the other woman the cover of the magazine. ‘ i didn’t even know, how rude of them to know before i did! ’ shaking her head she sits back once more, unbothered by the fabricated story but amused by it still. ‘ i am utterly heartbroken, i think i deserve a drink. ’

         “ i know, ” she admits, both head and voice low. she realizes how pathetic awkward it is, showing up on the other’s doorstep out of the blue, when neither have seen -- let alone spoken in some time. “ i just...i was in the area and...” should she even be here? ella is as beautiful as the day they first met, but now her features now display SADNESS. it pains lexa to think that she could be the source of all this strife. “ um...i don’t want to be a bother. just wanted to say hi. ” she offers a wry smile before turning on her heels in retreat. 

" thank you, love. " in her opinion, it's just another day. though ella thinks its deserving of recognition, and that's enough to paint a faint blush on her cheeks.

          “ and what exactly have i done? you really that gullible to believe rumors.” he scoffed, the small refrain of his voice to grow. the slouch of comfort to lean with a line to exclude every possibility of what had framed him, body perched on the edge of door. hands to dwindle on the patches on top the opening of his pockets. eyes lined to follow her trail of hair, the colors blending and seeing the strength of her jaw hold still. almost like her breath was taken away. it wasn’t till he watched her, the eyes of the door to her body become open. “ just like that, you don’t want to hear the truth? or really anyone else but me.” not even a moment to defend herself, he raised a hand to excuse to ration of her own understanding. he did, but he just didn’t care to really hear it. “ i’m not gonna fight when you never even trusted me since the beginning. i don’t blame you, i wouldn’t either.” he managed to say, but his lips wanted to bleed out a smile. the haunting of his body to flex with the feeling of being seen, it was too easy sometimes. just the cold wilting the flowers, she was so delicate. he swore to be the thorns of her petals. but worse, he was the one who kept standing when the rain poured down on her sweet frame. leaving her to the dirt. alone and towered to stare down below, helpless.     

          THEY BOTH HAD THE SAME idea at the same time when the train came to a halt. Only, the doorway could only fit one of them at a time, if they truly wanted to be comfortable getting on the train. Taking a step back, he gestured towards the steps. “Apologies... Ladies first.”
