Not sure what "supports" means - certainly there has to be more to this than talking WiFi to an Apple device. For those tuning in late, what Apple has publicly told everyone about HomeKit really is the app developer-facing stuff. What has to be done on the manufacturer side is much blurrier.
Most recently, in iOS 8, Apple introduces HomeKit, a new framework that delivers a common protocol for simple set up and communication with devices in the home, including integration with Siri. TI’s SimpleLink™ Wi-Fi CC3200 wireless microcontroller (MCU) now supports HomeKit and makes integration easy for device manufacturers to add the ability for their customers to securely pair and control devices throughout the home. The CC3200 development kits are available now and the TI software development kit (SDK) for HomeKit will be available in July.
