Idk if it’s just be but it bugs me to hell an back seeing mm simmers call literally any alpha heavy sim an “imvu character”

Like they say regardless of how far away they look from the stereotypical “imvu” look and it feels downright disrespectful towards everyone involved when they say it

Alpha not being your style is fine, and you have the right to express that. But Complaining about how every alpha sim is “yassified” “imvu-like” or always in the uncanny valley is annoying asf.

And we’re not even going to get into the conversation on how it (from my experience) seems to be directed towards black simmers more often than not.

An Idea

Drama aside, I have a question for the CC community in response to the discussion about tumblr and the tags and catching each other’s content!

@eldabe suggested a kind of fandom newsletter, perhaps a blog here, where we could reblog and share all of the goings on of fandom into one handy place. Essentially, it would be what the tag is supposed to be when it works. It would also be handy for those of you who run CC sideblogs and have a lot of other content on your dashes. Posts could be submitted and we’d have a handful of people running it, maybe in different timezones and pockets of fandom to make sure everything was covered?

It would only work if people here wanted to follow and submit so please reblog if you would be interested in something like this!
