I was kind of struck today that all of the love and interest I have in everything that happened with c!rainduo was like. 99.99% cc!niki's work. Like everything that was fun about that dynamic was extrapolated by niki. Wilbur would go about his shit and then niki would react to it in interesting ways. Niki trusting Wilbur above all. Niki having a weird relationship to her loyalty to him and L'Manberg with Eret. Niki scared and angry and alone in Manberg trying to hold out on Wil's unfulfilled promise that he'd come back for her. Niki not telling a soul about the TNT. Niki taking his coat and wearing it. Niki seeing Ghostbur and thinking that she's hallucinating. Like I try not to downplay what work creators did because they suck and I hate them and Wilbur obviously did a lot on the dsmp but with rainduo like. he gave her a tour on the server and they had a few conversations during the elections to Manberg period then he did the apology stream which is my least favorite c!rainduo thing generally. he was in character during her birthday event but he literally spent the whole time focused on Quackity.
