I'm so tired of networks making shows with LGBT+ main characters but not promoting them enough.
Like Doubt starring Laverne Cox, I barely saw any commercials for that. There may have been one to say, "hey we made this" but that was it. I found out about Doubt months after it was cancelled.
And now Instinct starring Alan Cumming portraying an ex-CIA agent that is openly gay with a husband and I'm just now seeing it before its season finale episode. I only heard about it online and one commercial but that's it.
Maybe I'm not paying enough attention or not seeing the commercials when they air but it seems very suspicious the shows we want to see never get the proper promotional parades like the cisheteronormative ones they oh so love to make.
