I was scrolling through Tiktok as one does and came across a vid from a woman saying how it was wrong of Ryan to want to be in control of creative decisions over Deadpool... girly, here's the thing, Deadpool being introduced to the MCU never would've been a thing had it not been FOR Ryan. He's been passionate about the character from the beginning, even leaked (you can't convince me he wasn't the one who did it) test footage in 2014 when Fox said "nah nobody wants that" when it was in fact the opposite. Looking at you Tom Rothman.
Ryan fought tooth and nail to get Deadpool off the ground, he was the one who made things happen. But then you're gonna back up your claim even more because TJ Miller left too? Whatever that man says, I take it with a grain of salt, especially with his sexual assault allegations.
I'm not even gonna mention the atrocity that is Wade Wilson in X-Men Origins: Wolverine... actually no wait, I am. You wanna know what Ryan did after that ridiculous Hollywood writing? To make sure that Deadpool was going to be released, he wasn't paid for his performance and it allowed Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick to write and work on set alongside him. Not to mention, Ryan's film production company, Maximum Effort, collaborated on the marketing campaign for the first two Deadpool movies. You think he shouldn't have creative control? I absolutely believe he should.
