Catholic Period Drama
With all these very enjoyable and widely successful shows taking place in the past, it’s got me thinking.
Can’t all the Catholics around the world get together and create a catholic television production company. To make high quality, and well written period dramas about Saints and their faith journeys. With good story and good acting and directing and writing that’d be worthwhile to see and pay for. Not sparing any faith detail or historic fact. Mystics and theologians and spiritual directors and saint friends and popes and historic conflicts and the good bad and ugly. There’s so much potential, and material that could be interesting for both christians and non christians alike. I know this would be far from easy to do, but if there's a will there's a way. There are so many Catholics wanting this, I know. I’m one of them. I only hope I’m not alone.
