As a fan, I came for the clothes... I stayed for the CLASS.
As the shy Kate Middleton, she fascinated me as being the one and only girl close to my age who dressed so elegantly and traditionally and yet was celebrated on magazine covers. I started my first tumblr in 2011 shortly after the wedding, being blown away by the first Canada tour ensemble— the maple leaf accents! The fan clutch!!! Literally no one else in the young American public eye dressed like this and I LOVED it.
Over the years it has become clear that her classiness and grace is not just on the outside! She really is humble and modest on the inside too.
The way she mothers has become inspirational to me. Seeing the way Catherine prioritizes her children while also fulfilling her duties is parenting GOALS.
But in the last year, my respect for her had gone up to another level I never envisioned! As a Christian, I was bowled over by the sight of her walking up to Prince Harry after Philip’s funeral. Absolutely speechless... What class. I mean, what a woman, wow. To reach out to Harry after what had so recently been done, before his own brother could even make himself look at him... I truly look up to her in every sense now. She really is a queen literally and figuratively. God bless you always Kate, you wonderful beautiful person, inside and out.
