Another Reason Why Cats Rule
I once tweeted about this, and since I believe in it wholeheartedly, I decided to elaborate it further here in the blog.
Dogs are dubbed as "Man's Best Friend" because they help feed off our ego. Our narcissistic side is constantly in need of having a die-hard fan, which is why we compliment their loyalty and total adoration to their owner.
In the other hand, cats remind us that we are not the Boss of the Earth. Animals are not our slaves; they are not here to adore and to be be overly dependent on us. Cats help destroy that dangerous mindset that had cost us the rainforest and other natural resources.
I do not hate dogs. I actually have two of them in my place. I am just sick and tired of 'cat-bashing'; having cats being portrayed as evil animal while they may actually remind us of something we have missed.
My kitty is sitting on me so I guess I can't get up and go to work
