i’m sorry for that. lol. I do this too actually. When I type anything like ‘castle’, my fingers automatically type ‘castiel’ because i type it so often.

I’m gonna go with Denny. I feel like Dean and Benny are better matched than Meg and Cas. They both fight to survive for their “jobs” for lack of a better term, they agree on core values, and they understand each other in terms of loyalty and expect more or less nothing from each other in return. They basically just expect the other to have their back in a fight. Their relationship (platonic or romantic, however you read it) was forged in fighting back to back, and they have a history based on mutual trust and respect. Megstiel was born when Cas was hallucinating and Meg stayed to make sure he didn’t freak out and destroy things. Their relationship is kind of one-sided to me. It felt like Cas was heavily dependent on Meg and she used that for eventual leverage; she took care of him enough to earn his trust then expected him to be at her beck and call. When Cas got rid of Hallucifer, he still held on to those loyal feelings that felt kind of manipulative to me as a viewer so their relationship has always kind of rubbed me the wrong way.
