So I was on Reddit when I saw a post about sleep paralysis and describing how scary it can be. I can fully relate! One time I had a dream where I was drowning, just as anyone normally would I awoke. Only this time I could barely breathe and I couldn't move at all! I looked over to see my fiancé fast asleep, when I tried to yell for help nothing came out, I was awake but it still felt like I was trapped under water drowning. Since then I've had a few more encounters with this nightmarish occurrence, but now my fiancé tells me I manage to make some noise, which lets him know to wake me. This is one of the scariest things that has ever happened to me.
