“I can get any guy in this club to buy me a drink.” Lola boasted to the Bordeaux, clad in her Red Cross uniform. The blaring music would dull out the sound of their voices, so the Carrington had to reach far closer to the Bordeaux to even begin to be heard. Perhaps the worst part of the situation was that she was still on duty, hence her plans to waste as much time on duty as possible. What other way than to chat and drink on the job than talk with Casper Bordeaux? She sat opposite to him in a booth, clutching a drink that had been provided to her before. With one leg crossed over one another, she took meagre sips, hoping he’d simply take her word for the immense claim that had spilled past her lips. “Prove it.” The Bordeaux replied, his tone almost giving her the benefit of the doubt. She scoffed, but now she had no choice but to prove her claim. It was a rather dangerous game, after all. Pushing herself upright from the table, she glanced back at him. “Okay, watch this.”
The target to carry out such activity was, of course, sat in the plush seats of the VIP area. Yet, upon closer inspection, it became rather clear that he wasn’t simply a random human attempting to pass his Saturday night by. Instead, he was a vampire — it added a sudden danger that separated from the fact he was a inebriated male itself. The witch stopped in her tracks, unsure of whether or not the fact that she was doused in vervain would offer any form of protection. After all, she would come to understand that witch’s blood was something they all craved. She paused, glancing back at Casper before coming to the realisation that her words held weight; she’d have to follow through with it. Holding her chin up high, she went over to the table, and the flame in the other vampire’s eyes became glaringly obvious. It was a rather stupid mission to begin with — no amount of tequila, or alcohol, could possibly be worth it. Swiping a few empty cups from the table, she came back to the table upon which Casper was perched upon. Had she made herself a target now? Quite possibly. “That was a stupid idea.” She reprimanded herself, hoping it wouldn’t have any grave repercussions later on.
