Scenes from Mithlond, the Grey Havens….
I mean Case Inlet, in the Puget Sound - known as Whulj / Wulge by many in the indigenous Lushootseed language by the time colonists got here. The Puyallup, Nisqually, and Squaxin Island people have called this place home for a very very very long time.
My brother (the guy in my profile pic) still lives in my rural hometown on this water. I got to go visit him this week. He’s into Tolkien, too 💝.
