There is a manga/anime (first episode released today on Crunchyroll) about a girl…who becomes a Kaiju…whenever she feels strong emotions. It’s called Kaiju Girl Caramelise and it’s a romance anime;

Kuroe Akaishi (the girl) falls in love with a popular boy and those feelings cause her to transform into a Kaiju.

Trust me when I say I've had my eye on this one for a while! 🤩🤩

For what a huge staple of pop culture kaiju are, it's only recently that anime centered around them have been popping up (not to say there aren't some classic ones, Godzilland my beloved).

And he's all the more adorable for it! 10/10 would snuggle with the strength of a python.

Riki is a 23 year old man who works for Capsule Corp

He’s recently out of college and already is such a valuable asset to capsule corp because of the papers he’s written regarding Ki as a phenomenon. So he was approached by Bulma herself and offered a job, which Riki took immediately cause…when Bulma Briefs offers you a job, you don’t just say “No” (she’s basically Zuckerberg and Bezos mixed into 1 very powerful woman).

Due to Bulma’s personal relationship with the Z-Fighters, Riki was allowed to further his study and make breakthrough after breakthrough, which is how he became Chief Researcher of Ki.

Extra Facts:

-Riki’s name is based off the romanized spelling of the word “リーキ” or “Rīki” which means “Leek”

So you may call him “Leek the Ki Geek”.

-Riki’s favorite food is white rice topped with breaded fried chicken. This is both because he genuinely loves it and because he hasn’t fully moved on from his college cooking days (they were literally less than a year ago).

-His least favorite food is anything sour, cause he can’t handle it.

-He has a power level of 4, which is slightly below a human with a shotgun.

-Because of his contract with Capsule Corp, Riki is eligible for perks like; Insurance, Healthcare, Dental, and most importantly…An extra large capsule house. It was all his for the longest time, which was only 3 weeks until he got his roommate…

Leek the Ki Geek is such a delightful name, and it's always nice to see characters who get by with their brains and tech proficiency since the Saiyans are usually the ones in the spotlight.

You got your Sunny D for sweetness, a whole tomato, some kind of pudding (plastic casing included for extra microplastics and macroplastics), white bread to soak up the Sunny D, and probably that salt in the background for seasoning
