The Serpentine River, low tide. Image 27/100 for the #100DaysofFacingtheCoast project. This is same location as I mentioned in my last post and only a few minutes apart. It was so calm that evening! This River in addition to be affected by the ocean tides, is also controlled by a sea dam installed just upstream. The season was put in place to protect the local low lying farmland from the brackish waters of the River and also to control flooding. Sometimes the flooding still wins. #cascadiastoryproject #serpentinefen #riverbanks

Centennial Beach, Boundary Bay, BC. Post 15/100 for the #100daysoffacingthecoast project. I'be lived in and around #vancouver BC for the past 20 years and had never visited this beach. Shameful! I had no idea it was such a magnificent spot and with these vast expanses of sand. You could walk for hours. So glad I went. #bccoast #vancouver #vancouverisawesome #cascadiastoryproject

wake 01. For the #100daysoffacingthecoast project. I have a fascination with the visual patterns of waves and water, actually I think most people do. Good thing I live near the ocean. One day I really will drop my camera in the water, or in this case my iPhone and I will be sad.
