Installation by Carson at OCADU. I saw this a couple of weeks ago, but I think it will probably be displayed again at OCAD's year-end GradEx. If you have a chance to go see, definitely go and see in person -- you will feel it. Otherwise, look at his work on Instagram (@carsonteal) or tumblr @carsonteal I can't even come up with the right words to talk about how -good- Carson's work is. The way it affects me and stays with me, I guess it's very meaningful, though I wouldn't be able to explain what the meaning is. But his talent is really deep, and his vision vast, and he ties it all together by creating the sounds himself too. I knew right away it was something different and very special when I first saw his drawings, and I just know he's going to be at MoMA and the Whitney and all the rest of them. No doubt about that, and soon too. I look at a lot of art online and irl, and honestly haven't found another contemporary artist whose work resonates with me so much. But I really don't know why So anyway, enjoy this video, ideally in the dark and quiet.
