Found these stamps while packing for our move back to the UK. Royal mail has done six film related issues over the years (the most recent being a Harry Potter one last September). These were issued in 2008 and celebrate those much loved (if not always high quality) British franchises - 'Carry On..' and 'Hammer Horror'. I think they did a good job of choosing a representative sample. If they'd just gone for the best the might have added 'Carry on up the Khyber' and 'The Devil Rides Out'.
