1. EVERYBODY LEAVE SUVI ALONE NOW!!!!!!!!!! why the fuck is the prince interested in her i don’t like it!! really ominous still not knowing what the Citadel’s goal is, and the way Brennan is steering us towards understanding the relationship between Empire and Citadel…..hm. worried for her.

2. Brennan specifically describing how sir curran died from AN ARROW BETWEEN THE NECK AND SHOULDER? where the fucking pauldron would have protected him??? FUCKED.

3. loved Ame in Carrow, specifically in terms of how it showed her incredible growth and maturing from earlier seasons. when she was in Port Talon she was immediately uncomfortable, overwhelmed and out of her depth because it wasn’t the small village community structure which is all she knew. she struggled a lot with it, and now she’s saying “i feel the city” and comparing it to Eursulon’s divine sense??? phew. and, i know it’s horrible to think she’s not going to save Ghost immediately, but i do think it’s the right decision for different reasons. firstly she made a promise to her true friend and there’s quite a lot of urgency there, secondly she’d be on her own (yes technically she probably has people she could call on in Carrow but who knows how long that would take), thirdly she’d be going up against a whole institution of guild mages, and lastly she’d have to figure out what to do with Ghost once she’s free while still needing to get to Suvi. it’s smarter to get Suvi, and then come back to free Ghost (not to mention Suvi is the one who sent Ghost here so narratively that makes sense, and it’s much easier to leave the Citadel than to get into it). plus, i’d like to see whether they get to visit Suvi’s parents’ hideout in Haverward where there may well be helpful and important information they can use. all in all, she’s thinking and moving with cunning, and i think that’s really clear and important.

4. i’ve already talked about the Eursulon and Níf things elsewhere so not repeating it here
