Like, just as a reference from someone who lives in Texas: I can drive for literally 12 hours and still be in Texas. So.

Try Canada. Even in our most densely populated areas, cities are between 1.5-2 hours apart by car. Beyond that, we talking about hours and hours and hours. My family used to drive 10 hours (each way) twice a year to visit my grandparents. They only lived one province over!

First of all, thank you for your message, and thank you for listening– it means a lot to me & to us! I’m really glad you could relate to Alice and what she was going through. As a queer woman, it was particularly important to me that we get this aspect of the character right, and there was definitely discussion about how to handle the execution of the episode and Alice’s coming out. I know well the horrible feeling of thinking you are going to get some representation only to be slapped in the face with total bullshit, and everyone involved wanted to make sure we did not do that.
