Enjoy this tasty caramel shortbread fudge, which is the perfect mix of caramel, white chocolate, and shortbread cookies. It's simple to make and even simpler to enjoy this sweet treat!

Ingredients: 2 cups of white chocolate chips. 1 can 14 ounces of sweetened condensed milk. 1/2 cup of caramel sauce. 1 cup of crushed shortbread cookies. 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract. Pinch of salt.

Instructions: Line an 8x8 inch 20x20 cm square baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides for easy removal. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the white chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Microwave the mixture in 30-second intervals, stirring each time, until the chocolate is fully melted and the mixture is smooth. Stir in the caramel sauce, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into the melted mixture until well combined. Fold in the crushed shortbread cookies until they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture. Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top with a spatula. Place the pan in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours, or until the fudge has set. Once the fudge is set, use the parchment paper overhangs to lift it out of the pan. Cut the fudge into squares or bars, as desired. Serve and enjoy your delicious caramel shortbread fudge!

“Caramel Shortbread”

I was very pleased with my first tea of the advent calendar. My first impression was “oh boy this smells like freshly baked cookies!” Not surprising, the tea is called Caramel Shortbread. It. was. awesome. I will totally have this again. My friend was super jealous of my yummy yummy tea. She WISHES she had an advent calendar like mine. This would be such a good Secret Santa to get for anyone who loves a hot cup of YUM! Will buy again.
