Aloy undershirt refit: success!
I completely unnecessarily added eyelets because the original piece had them. Oh well. It's a nice little detail that only I will see.
Embroidery on the sleeves done as well. I had exactly enough of the embroidery thread left to do it. #nailedit
There's still time to add extra embroidery to the over layer, I mutter, even though only 6in of it would be visible,
Three years after I made this costume:
I'm planning to take it back out to DragonCon (sans spear probably?). Which means I gotta make sure it still fits etc.
I've already had to redo the shirt cuz I got swole from taking sword classes this past year apparently (literally I just had to widen the armholes lmao)
Embroidery still to be fixed. And I gotta wash this shirt.
Next up however, making one of these in linen to attach to the undershirt so it's all just one layer instead of two layers and one of them being leather:
It was survivable last time and I'm glad I made it this way first. But you literally see 6 sq inches of this layer. I don't have to be so extra. (Also I'm hoping it'll help me stay marginally cooler.)

I think I want to make a different kind of headpiece for Raishan. Maybe a dragon mask, rather than the horns? Luckily I've got time to decide and make something, since I have no new cons or costume parties on the horizon.
