The seashell haul as it stands on our second to last day! We weeded out the damaged stuff this morning.
Another sunset photo from this week đ
If you are sheltering in place in Florida, or know someone who is, please register yourself or them at FloridaDisaster.org/report like I did. Scroll down and click on the 2nd underlined âShelter in Place Surveyâ.
If you have family/friends who you cannot get ahold of on Sanibel, Captiva or any area of Lee County due to the cell phone outages, please contact Lee County Emergency Assistance at 239-477-1000 or call Lee County Search and Rescue to add someone to their S&R list at 239-533-0622. You also can contact the Cajun Navy at the request link below if you need to request a rescue at a specific address. They already have rescued 30 people from Sanibel. We lived on Sanibel for 12 years and have family and friends who still live there and in Fort Meyers. Thank God our people survived but my heart is broken looking at the utter devastation and hearing hundreds are feared dead. God bless everyone in Florida! đđđđđ

FFXIV Write 2020 | Warning: Torture ⢠Hanging ⢠Mutilation Tooth and Nail ⢠expression
Engage in vigorous combat or make a strenuous effort, using all one's resources. Â For example, I'm going to fight.
Getting him to the tree had been no easy task. Heâd made certain of it. Gallard had been a fighter once, he could be one again. Even with the prosthetic leg, the two men had struggled as he clawed and bit and punched and flailed between them. Like a wild animal, corralled and cornered, heâd fought tooth and nail. Up until theyâd cracked his skull against the firm wood of his carriage and got the noose around his neck.Â
âLookit âim dance, Kenny! Lookit them legs go! WOOO!â  It was the lean one that shouted, cackling while his larger brother pulled the rope taught. He stood on one end of the bough and hoisted Gallard up from the ground until he was hanging on the opposite end. His face had quickly turned a reddish-purple while he spasmed, swayed, and choked out guttural sounds into the night.Â
âI like âow âee sings, Len. Watch --â Gallard could feel all the blood trapped beneath the swelling epidermis of his visage. Heâd turned his nails to the coils about his neck then, desperately scraping and pulling at the taught length, but theyâd wet the rope to strengthen its bond before noosing him up. His vision doubled until there were multiple, skinny Lenâs in front of him, and then it went black. The smuggler wasnât given the sweet reprieve of death though.Â
He felt himself falling and then he crumpled in a gasping, coughing heap of dust. He didnât care that when he breathed, he inhaled dirt. It was sweet, and beautiful and he inhaled deeply to let out a cry that never made it into fruition. âHEEE-yrk!â Gallard was lifted once more to the cheers and jeers of the twins.
what an INCREDIBLE day Max & I had, went to Captiva for the day, and just relaxed. breathed in the fresh air and the salt water, let the water heal us. got some amazing vegan food, and vegan ice cream, and just thoroughly enjoyed each otherâs company. had such a wonderful day. oh and no sunburn, thatâs the best part tbh.
