all this searching & acting was honestly so much of a hassle, but a responsibility he held on his own shoulders. having not only found but spent so much time with his mark, it was truly just his luck---if only there was time to get away, that is. away with her, & with a proper reason. a tactful way to go about this.
all this time, the “antidote” of sorts hadn’t been completed, but now it was only in its beta stages. touya offered himself up as the test subject, but since the quirk injection never having manifested in him like the others had, they had to go with the horibe kid, against touya’s better judgement. he hated seeing kids being used a guinea pigs, but if it was the only way... laurel said there had been a break through recently... something positive, so if now was a good as any a time to act...
