Day 1: The Old Biscuit Mill is a vibrant little village in the heart of Woodstock where you’ll meet some of South Africa’s most talented, innovative designers, artists, and photographers. Walking distance from the Mill is The Woodstock Exchange, where you will find additional artists and designers.
Not far from Woodstock is the District 6 Museum. It’s a solid 45 minute walk, and in route is District 6 itself. Well worth the walk.
I finished the day at Greenmarket Square, one of South Africa’s oldest public squares. Originally a slave market, but is not filled with local vendors.
