Hey! So, I made a Danny phantom crossover with Boku no hero and posted a few designs of suits and one was super similar to your space AU redesign. I mean like scarily similar, I even had shoulder guards. I can send you the pic if you like, but I wanted to let you know I already took it down in case anyone came forward to you! I’m really sorry and hope this doesn’t upset you, I never meant to infringe on someone else’s ideas.
nobody told me about it so no, i wasn’t aware! but thank you for coming forward about it! the fact that you even sent me this message tells me your heart is in the right place. you took it down yourself (which you didn’t have to do) and came to me directly to tell me what happened i believe you when you say you came up with it on your own.
feel free to put it back up if you like - i’d love to see it! as long as you give proper credit where it’s due, if you drew something you have the right to post it. and in this case if you came up with the idea yourself it’s not necessary to give me credit for an idea you had on your own (though since you caught the similarity i’d appreciate a link to space au if you feel like it! ;o)
at the end of everything, au/fanart stuff is just for fun! i want to make it clear i’d be more concerned if it was that similar to an OC i designed or something like that. but since it’s not you’re good
