I respect that, but...at the same time, I don’t feel like I should have to overcome an entire book to enjoy the series. I just...don’t know.

Three bells, the sewing kit, a single copper, a stolen pocket watch, one of her spare knives (also stolen, for the giggle of it), and a small fold of paper. On the paper is scrawling, beautiful Orlesian script, definitely in Asha's handwriting. If she scans the paper she would see her name listed within the Orlesian. The other page is much less neat, the Common words halting and scratched versus scribed. It seems that whatever was written in Orlesian they are trying to translate into Common. For her. It's not going well so far.
