And there actually is a proper Pride & Prejudice AU with a very promising start, however, unfortunately it was abandoned long ago and the account (sasswidow on AO3) was deleted.

We actually don’t know of any!  We were able to find you a few fanworks such as a fanvid, a gif set, a movie poster (and some meta) on this topic, but no fic.  There is a fic by @reysimmons named Love, Jemma, but we don’t believe it’s an AU of that movie, though it does include childhood friends and letter-writing.

It’s London near the end of the nineteenth century. Leo Fitz wants nothing more than to receive a gentleman’s education and leave his mark upon the world.  The last thing that Jemma Simmons wants is to be a proper lady.  Thievery, science, and romance collide at the Royal SHIELD Academy.
