Your WIP list is great! Tell me more about ASOIAF JonC/Davos Jaime/Brienne Sansa/Aegon please!
This fic started out because I was scanning through AFFC and realized that the Golden Company had taken Tarth (I think it is mentioned in a Cersei chapter) for Aegon.
So I had this idea that Jaime and Brienne find Sansa and they have the brilliant idea to take her to Tarth where no one will think to look for her (or Jaime) and they can wait out the war and see where the chips fall. But they show up and discover that Tarth is occupied and Jaime is far too recognizable to not be spotted (though Sansa’s Alayne disguise holds with the regular mercenaries) and they are all dragged off to Griffin’s Roost because obviously JonC and Aegon are going to want the Kingslayer. JonC, who has spent the last decade and a half hiding Aegon with hair dye, sees right past Sansa’s disguise when they arrive.
Meanwhile, Davos has fled from the North with Shireen, rescuing her from the clutches of Melisandre/her show fate, only to have one of the storms Cape Wrath is so famous for land him at JonC and Aegon’s feet. The Baratheons, Lannisters, and Starks are all in the clutches of Aegon and he is going to have to decide the kind of king he is going to be now that they are in in his power.
Davos Seaworth/Jon Connington
”a fool who loved his king too much” / “ I rose too high, loved too hard, dared too much. I tried to grasp a star, overreached, and fell”
There’s also the matter of JonC’s greyscale infected finger(s) he knows he should cut off but has been procrastinating about and the fingers that Stannis took from Davos and Davos’ untraditional feelings about that.
These two men, stewards of the men they served, loved, and lost’s children, have a lot of common ground to find.
(and a really intimate, brutal, tender, and strangely erotic scene where JonC asks Davos to do what he cannot bring himself to)
Sansa Stark / Aegon Targaryen
Sansa isn’t the same naive girl she was when she was promised a golden prince, but that actually makes her the right queen for a silver king who definitely has not learned the political lessons she now has.
They have the chance to get right what their parents (and other assorted relatives) royally screwed up.
Jaime Lannister / Brienne of Tarth
Broken vows and impossible failed promises. Jaime finally gets the chance to be “tried” for the crime he has had hanging over him since the rebellion and how can the Targaryen regime not punish him? At the same time how hand Hand JonC not also be the person best posed to understand just how mad and toxic Aerys was, Aerys who banished him, kept him from being there for his silver prince in his time of need. Brienne, faced with the specter of Red Ronnet (who she doesn’t know Jaime smacked over her honor). Brienne who tried so hard to keep Sansa safe and delivered her into the dragon’s den.

Ahhhh, my Ghost!Margaery/Jaime/Brienne fic I continue to poke at. This is, ultimately, a work I started to let Brienne explore grief and her identity and give her a space to unrepress some repressed emotions. It’s very much crack taken seriously, because Margaery, while a ghost, is still very much THERE, and both Jaime and Brienne can see her.
An excerpt from before Brienne realizes she’s seeing Margaery’s actual ghost:
Jaime's eyes held hers, refused to abandon her tears from being witnessed. He held her hands, leaning in to touch her forehead with his, and kept his eyes open to guide her safely back as she sobbed.
"I will never ask you to let go of her, Brienne. Just like I know you won’t be asking any of us to move on any time soon." His voice was soft and gentle, and Brienne choked back more tears at how frightening it was to see Jaime be so gentle with her. It felt like just one more thing that had changed now that Margaery was gone. "You loved her -no, you love her. All I want… I just need you to know I'll be here, okay? I'll be here as long as you let me."
The wailing in Brienne's head stopped, and she gulped fresh air back into her lungs as Jaime's words sank under the surface of her grief, and she found herself nodding as she wept.

sorry for the lateness it was... some full days is2g I’m catching up from tomorrow thsat I’m not at work but in this case... I mean everyone thought tyrion fixing the chairs before the small council meeting in the finale was stupid/a waste of time/useless/wtf is he with the chairs while I thought it was the only decent show don’t tell thing the show did in like the last four seasons bc they didn’t need dialogue but it was obvious from the framing/the setting/the fact that he was taking time fixing the chairs that he really wanted a good shot at being hand the second time/that he cared abt things looking proper/in order and that he took pride in it which... I mean like it’s actually in character, it was one of the few times I said OKAY THAT’S SENSED and ofc ppl hated it sigh

I love your writing, and I want to commission a fic, but I've never done that before. What kind of prompts do you prefer? Not content of prompts so much as form. For example, do you prefer three or four words, images, music, short paragraph, etc.?
first of all thank you so much!! 🥺 and as for your question… honestly i have no preference but i prefer being given ship + idea and if you’d like whatever thing happening in it and what you don’t want to read in smth you’re paying for, as for format depends because with visuals either i get IDEAS or i do vignettes but if you give me a song i usually get ideas for actual sensed stories with a plot half of the time so while i tend to prefer written or music to visual it really isn’t a deal breaker or anything :) short paragraph is also fine really just make sure i know what you DON’T want in it ;)

“Donuts Brienne” is about a very little wench who, one day, pops out Jaime’s donuts box. obviously spoiling his “donuts time.” A one shot, in my plan 🤞.
Marnie/from the Sea is a longer fic, slightly inspired to Hitchcock’s 1964 movie - but it takes place in Westeros, where the thiefs... well, you know what happen to thiefs in Westeros, when they’re caught. And Jaime catches Marnie/Brienne.
I’d like to post a fragment of it, but I’m on the wrong pc, right now. 🙄😶
