saying that a bisexual headcanon is only acceptable if the bi person remains monogamously devoted to your favorite character and never experiences attraction to anyone else past or present, because you think it would "ruin their love" if one of them was bisexual, makes it pretty clear that you don't give a single solitary fuck about the lived experiences of bi people or the unique challenges and stereotypes that bi people face. instead, you saw something that made you feel yuckyyy and you reached for a tortured moral justification to try and bully people into not making things that make you feel yucky anymore, bc god forbid bi people make things for themselves and not you.

Anyone can headcanon whatever they like, but you can't constantly demand that people justify their ideas with a thesis, nobody needs to do that. And there's something really disheartening in the way that bisexual people are often accused of faking it, and have to prove that they're not just gay, but in denial, or straight but just looking for attention. So maybe when you demand that they ALSO justify WHY exactly they think that this fictional character might be bi, think about how that might feel to people who have to do that with their own sexuality in real life already.
